Worship Ministry

Worship at Calvary Baptist Church is a celebration of Trinitarian Praise as reflected in the reading of the Word, biblical teaching, prayer, music, Baptism, Communion, and the giving of tithes and offerings. We align with Scripture as we “sing Psalms, hymns, and Spiritual songs, ” incorporating a variety of modern worship and praise songs, as well as some familiar hymns as a regular part of our weekly gatherings. Young and old alike serve in the musical aspects of worship, including a muti-generational choir and praise team consisting of multiple vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, and congas.

Those desiring to become a part of the choir are welcome to join us at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings from late August through early June. The praise band members meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 as needed to prepare for worship.
